Somerset Cricket League
Dinner and Presentation of Trophies 2007
This event will be held at The Shrubbery Hotel, Ilminster. Friday 12 October, 7.30 - 12.00 Midnight. The League Management Committee will again be organising the Annual End of Season Dinner with the Presentation of Trophies. The function will be held at the League’s Sponsor, The Shrubbery Hotel, Ilminster. The cost of the Dinner, which will include a four-course meal of a high standard and entertainment arranged by our sponsor Stuart Shepherd, will be £19.00 per ticket. There will be no speeches of a formal kind, but our guest of the evening will speak prior to presenting the prizes. There will also be representatives from the League's sponsors The Best Western Shrubbery Hotel as guests. |

1st XI lose at North Newton Watchet 1st XI lost their final match of the season to promotion wining side, North Newton despite a brilliant 80 from skipper Clive Strong. The 1st XI ended up in fifth position in Division Two. |

Club Presentation Night Watchet Cricket Club's End of Season Awards Presentation Evening took place on Friday 12th October 2007 at The Royal British Legion Club in Watchet. Jason Strong was voted Players' Player of the Year, Nick Virgin best 1st XI bowler and Edward Martin 1st XI batting, Martin Strong 1st XI all-rounder. Peter Manley won the 2nd XI batting award. Billy Jones won the award courageous action. Details of other award winners will appear shortly. |
